All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist when he grows up.

The government cuts funding to the arts because the creative thoughts may come to something and someone may actually work something out.  I think they are concerned if the masses get too clever.

In the mean time I will continue with  my art of photography and finding heart shapes in fun places.

The past cannot be changed, forgotton, edited or erased....It can only be accepted.

IMG 5297 Golden silence
Walking out to master my own fate
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud
Under the bludgeoning of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul..........William Ernest Henley

Search well and be wise, nor believe that self-willed pride will ever be better than good counsel.

First things come first.
It is a well visited place this one pictured above. Hungry Head is just down the road from Urunga.  It is the first headland south from the mouth of the river opening at Urunga.   The headland is certainly one of my favorite places to go and to look over the massive ocean laying on the Earth before me expanding as far as my eyes can see.

I have seen whales from up here, Hungry Head is a great place to see these ocean sweethearts as they travel up the coastline in front of us on their special journey to mate and have  their babies somewhere in the vast oceans of the planet.

Lots of surfers come to here to check out the surf conditions as its a top view up and down the coast from here.

“Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character.”

Atalanta at Valla

The world needs more people to see this.  My friend above is a true leader and she sees this as well.  The indigenous people are also joining in this meditation to bring about the new age that is all but upon us.  There are huge CME's due to come in onto the planet any day now too.  Hope the computer is fine through this if it effects this area of the planet at strike time.

CME's are Coronal Mass Ejections from the sun.  My friend the sun who keeps us all alive with every wave of electromagnetic energy that is reigned down upon us.  With out this we are dead in the water.

The Whales are moving earlier this year

If you talk to animals they will talk with you and you will know each other.  If you do not talk to them you will not know them and what you do not know you will fear. What one fears one destroys.
~Chief Dan George~

This year the whales are swimming up the east coast of Australia, this great south Land much earlier than usual and they are appearing a good 43 days ahead of time.

Go and stand on a high place and look and yell out hello!

This image also clearly shows the rip as it stretches out like a serpent into the water taking with it all in its path.  Rips are responsible for most drowning deaths on Australia's beaches.  If you get into a rip swim with it until you can swim sideways out of it.  Keep a level head and don't panic if at all possible try to understand it is nature.  She will grip you and let you go if you ask.

Go outside because miracles are waiting everywhere for you.

One of the Caves

Some Rocks just out from the caves

Now I have seen the Valla Beach Caves, they were fascinating.  I have heard that these places are considered to be a mans space within Aboriginal or indigenous law or lore, whichever makes you feel comfortable.  I respected this, and I didn't enter into the caves, I stood out front and took pics of them but I didn't go inside.

While I was there I got a tremendous buzzing in my head and when I came home I had the worst headache I have ever had besides having meningitis many years ago.  I did wonder if the two events were connected.  I do feel better now though so that is a good thing.  It was painful.

After I left the beach caves I traveled along the highway to Burkes Lane where I took a left turn in towards my favorite hill I like to photograph lately and I drove towards Pickett Hill.  A magnificent sight it is too.  It is also a mans space and even uninitiated men should not walk there.  It has strong indigenous spiritual meaning.

“Though outwardly a gloomy shroud, The inner half of every cloud Is bright and shining: I therefore turn my clouds about And always wear them inside out To show the lining.”

Ellen Thorneycroft Fowler

The day began bathed in brilliant sunshine...

(Mrs. A.L. Felkin) Quotes Source: Wisdom of Folly.

Today on the hill the weather is really perplexing. Not sure if it will be so hot or pour rain. Storms all around us each day.

I suspect it is a fine day if your in love. Valentines Day is good for that. I have this beautiful heart that was given to me at the beach. So I guess every day is valentines day for me. We look for these beautiful things in nature. When we find them I carry on as though I have found a diamond or something equally precious.

When things go wrong. Look for the opportunity in that moment to change something to fix it up again. If it is in your power to do so then do so. All crisis brings change. Change is not to be feared but to be welcomed as the changeable seasons and the changeable days.

We cannot have sunny days everyday and therefore the lesson in nature for us is that sometimes things are not so bright. Wait patiently as this will pass just like the clouds do. The sun will come out on your situation once more.

Know when you have a good thing. Know that your freedom of choice is a possession that is priceless.

I was in one bedroom, dreamin of a million. Now I'm in beach houses, cream to the ceiling.

 P Diddy ...

Here at  "On the Hill"  the weather is perfection plus today.  I can feel a swim coming on at some stage and more sun. I must wear the Nj Rashie everywhere today it is just that bright .   I could do some more stringing of shells and make another Canowind Chimes mobile today as well if I get time.
Today we will Pray for the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change what things I can and the absolute wisdom to know the difference between the two of those!  The Courage and the Serenity.  I feel it is important for me as a human being to retain my serenity.

“It’s hard for me to put into words why I like the beach so much. Everything about it is renewing for me, almost like therapy...Beach Therapy.” - Amy Dykens

A majikal day at the beach , Valla NSW.

There is some conjecture as to whether the name Valla is of  European or Aboriginal derivation. The Gumbaynggir translate the name Valla to Janingbirriny, which means wattle tree gum-bridge (Morelli, 1999). Other accounts on the history of the area note that the Aborigines name for the locality was Valla Valla
(Thurtell & Smith n.d.). Jagun is Gumbaynggir for homeland, country or birthplace (Morelli, 1999).

Aboriginal communities have an association and connection to the land. The land and water diversity values within a landscape are central to Aboriginal spirituality and contribute to Aboriginal identity. Aboriginal communities associate natural resources with the use and enjoyment of foods and medicines, caring for the land, passing on cultural knowledge and strengthening social bonds. Aboriginal heritage and nature are
inseparable from each other and need to be managed in an integrated manner across the landscape.

During consultation with the Gumbaynggir people they have indicated that they have a
strong connection to the Valla Beach and Oyster Creek areas. The entrance to Oyster
Creek is highly significant to the Gumbaynggir people as well as an important spiritual
link with Nunguu Mirral Aboriginal Area (Picket Hill):

If you want to conquer fear, don't sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy. - Dale Carnegie

Looking Back towards home.
Today early to occupy my mind and my body I rode my push bike out to the beach and got a flat tyre.  I am glad really as it was glass that caused the puncture and it was better in my tyre than a childs foot.
I pushed it all the way back home a little disappointed and then well occupied but not before snapping this pic of looking back towards home.   I love my home.
